Hello!
I was born and raised in Southern California where I attended the University of California - Riverside. After graduating with my B.A. in History I joined NCCC and the U.S. Army. During my years of service I have been fortunate enough to be a part of disaster response teams (hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods) throughout the South. In addition, I served on the Riverside National Cemetery Honor Guard detail providing final military services to veterans and their families.
At the conclusion of 5 years of service I accepted an elementary teaching assignment at Success Academy Charter Schools in Harlem and taught for 2 years. Upon admission to Clemson University for my masters degree, I student taught at Langston during the 2014-2015 school year and at Gettys Middle School in Easley for the 2015-2016 school year. I returned to Langston Charter Middle in 2016.
I enjoy bowling, creating divots on PGA level courses, eating delicious food, and traveling throughout these United States.
